These trip depart on Sunday morning from Quito International airport. ROAM offers everything from airport pick up to multi-day extensions in the Andes, jungle and coast. We are pleased to offer both a southern and northern route both of which are 8 days/7 nights. Below is an itinerary at a glance for the southern route:
Day 1 (Sunday) – flight to Galapagos (Baltra Island), hike and snorkel on Bachas Beach
Day 2 (Mon) – San Cristobal – Cerro Brujo, Kicker Rock, Isla Lobos for swimming with sea lions, snorkeling, kayaking, San Cristobal surf and dive option
Day 3 – (Tues) – Gardner Bay snorkeling, beaches and kayaking, Espanola – waved albatrosses, blow holes, marine iguanas
Day 4 (Wed) – Hiking and snorkeling – Floreana and Post Office Bay
Day 5 (thurs) -Hike to see tortoises, scuba option, Tortuga Bay for swimming/surfing or kayaking, Darwin Center
Day 6 (Fri) – Santa Fe hike, snorkel, kayak, SUP
Day 7 (Sat) – Sombrero Chino and Bartolome – hike, kayak and snorkel at Pinnacle Rock, penguins, sharks
Day 8 – (Sunday) Arrive Baltra, Mosquea and flight back to Quito and our charming hacienda
Customized extensions are available in the highlands, jungle and coast and these trips easily dovetail with our legendary Ecuador multisport weeks utilizing haciendas and unique lodges. ROAM also customizes nomadic surf safaris and owns and operates a bamboo surf house on the west coast of Ecuador.
